Carole is a Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling, and Clinical Hypnotherapist who believes that with help, we have the ability to self-heal the pain of our life journey.
Carole is a graduate of the Kelowna College of Professional Counsellors and the Pacific Institute of Advanced Hypnotherapy (New Westminster, BC). She has worked in Crisis Intervention (including Rape Crisis) in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She produced a photographic documentary called “Love, Kevin”, the story of a young man who was diagnosed with AIDS in the 80’s.
As a Domestic Violence Worker in the Transition House system, she is both educated and understanding of the issues around domestic abuse. She was also a trainer for the BC Yukon Transition House Society and trained Transition House Workers from across the Province.
Carole has an understanding of health challenges, as she has had to face many of them personally.
Carole is a member of the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA) and the Canadian College of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists. Carole is an Associate Member of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has additional training in Traumatic Incident Reduction therapy and Life Stress Reduction therapy through Applied Metapsychology International.
